Why is this man whining?

Obama really is serious about pursuing this lie that he is fiscally conservative and that it was Bush who ran up the spending so much that it is now self-sustaining despite Obama's best efforts so tamp it down. Granted, I've been a serious critic of how little Bush did to squash spending, particularly after the Dems took over Congress in 2006, but what he did pales in comparison to what Obama and Congress did during his first two years. As this article says, Bush refused to sign-off on some of the spending that Obama is blaming him for. In fact, it was Obama himself who signed off on it.

  1. I was reading some of the articles linked to in the article I linked, and I'm reminded of how we'd joke to departing coworkers that they will be blamed for projects that they had no part of. Similarly, Nutting, the fellow who first launched the claim that Obama was a fiscal conservative, was a little bummed that he couldn't attribute one of Obama's stimulus plans to Bush because it was signed after Oct. 1, 2009.

  2. It is my biggest complaint with the big O - that he takes no accountability for anything!

  3. Regardless of what Obama explicitly approved, if it happened before Oct 1, 2009, the beginning of his first official budget, it's not his fault. Let's not forget that he voted for all of the spending for which he is now blaming Bush. Obama has no shame.
