Is Mojo back? I see that she has made her football picks, and did about as well as everybody else in our Pick'Em league.
The only consolation of last night's game is that I have not lost any ground since everybody picked the Vikes to win. I've been trying to pick what I thought were reasonable underdogs in recent weeks in the hope of gaining ground on the rest of you, but all I've succeeded in doing is going further down the cellar steps.
No, she is not back yet. She actually set her picks out a couple weeks before she left! She is supposed to return tomorrow, I believe. And no, I have not heard from her (or the priest!) either.
Have you heard the latest about the embassy attack? So far I've heard it only from Fox, but it is too big to be ignored by the rest of the media. CIA operatives on the ground had requested help immediately after hearing gunfire, and two subsequent times, and were refused and told to stand down each time.
I checked other news sites, and they don't have a clue. Their latest news is Panetta saying last night that they didn't have enough intelligence to justify sending aid to the embassy.
I do not know. I remember looking at her itinerary and thinking it covered a lot of ground in a few days, though I do not remember the days.
